Update: Our sold-out CD is once again available.
July 13, 2008

Gentle Reader,

To the right is a listing of the programme that will be performed in Edinburgh. Each classical selection relates to a character or situation in Jane Austen's novels. This same programme has been professionally recorded to CD. Click the blue buttons to play samples.

Imagine a cold winter night a few months from now. The modern world has you feeling weary and low. You need hope, courage and someone to explain it all, somehow -- and there is a solution:

  • Turn off your television.

  • Ignore your computer.

  • Take a Jane Austen novel off the shelf. She is for you.

  • Play your CD of An Evening at Pemberley: The Music of Jane Austen's Heroines. It is for you too.
You're not just indulging an historical fancy--you're tapping the delightfully wise muse of your tomorrows. Literature. Great Music. These are not just for yesterday's memories. They are touchstones for now, for today, for you.

Unfortunately, as of June 2008, our entire stock of CDs was sold out! We do apologize if our popularity has caused you frustration. More CDs are currently being reproduced, with newly designed packaging too. August 1st, 2008 Good news! We again have a supply of CDs and those who come to the performances in Edinburgh will be the first in the UK to have the opportunity to take this music home--and at a special concert price, too. Until now, this recording has only been available in the United States. Supplies in the UK are limited, but they will be available in Edinburgh on a first-come, first-served basis. Come to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe performances on August 8th or 11th to get this CD for only £5. What a wonderful present this recording will make for someone you love!

We plan to put into place an online purchasing option in the future. But for now, Gentle Reader, to purchase a CD from afar, you may write to request information about purchasing by mail. Send an email to the Producer. We'll send you an email when the CD is available, along with details about how your purchase can be safely transacted.

Don't forget to reserve your tickets now to hear opera star Patrice Boyd sing this splendid music for you in an enlightening live performance that has charmed so many in the USA and Canada. For photos, details, and directions see our home page.

Warm regards,

T.S.M.
